Job Description
UnitedLayer is seeking a dynamic and experienced GSI (Global System Integrators) Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and building strategic relationships with global system integrators (like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant etc.). This role requires a deep understanding of the IT infrastructure landscape, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth through partnerships with GSIs.
Profile of the candidate
- Currently in an alliance/channel sales/pre-sales role with a GSI
- Geo focus: Primary (US), Focus (Canada, UK, LATAM, ME)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in alliance/channel sales/pre-sales
- Should have/had US B1/B2 visa
Skills & Qualification
- Extensive network of relationships with key execs and sales with the GSI covered
- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure
- Experience in demand generation, channel sales
- Experience in running go-to-market campaigns
Roles and Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets with GSI partners.
- Identify and prioritize key GSI partners to maximize business opportunities and market reach.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within GSI organizations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all GSI-related sales activities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Sales Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, engineering) to develop tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of GSI partners.
- Drive joint go-to-market initiatives and campaigns with GSI partners to expand market presence and achieve mutual growth objectives.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential threats.
- Continuously refine and improve sales tactics and strategies based on performance data and market feedback.
- Training and Development:
- Provide training and support to GSI partners on UnitedLayer’s products and services.
- Ensure partners are well-equipped to effectively sell and support UnitedLayer’s solutions.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute co-branded marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure alignment between GSI partner needs and UnitedLayer’s product roadmap.
- Liaise with the customer success team to ensure a seamless post-sales experience for GSI clients.
